President- Godfrey Jenkins

Godfrey is a native of Jacksonville, FL. He is a proud alumnus of Florida A & M University class of 1965. During is college tenure, Godfrey was a member of the world renowned Marching 100.

Godfrey’s dedication to Florida A & M University transcends above the local level. In addition to holding past offices of 1st Vice President and 2nd Vice President in the JRE Lee (Jacksonville) Alumni Chapter, Godfrey is a Life Member of the FAMU National Alumni Association, a Venom Club Booster, a member of the National Rattler "F" Club,  and member of The Marching 100 Alumni Association.

 

1st Vice President - Dr. Frank Emanuels

Dr. Frank S. Emanuel, is the Director of the Jacksonville Pharmacy Practice Division and Assistant Professor for the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Florida A & M University. He is responsible for the development and sustainment of numerous and diverse projects to include community outreach programs that facilitate the improvement of health services in the Jacksonville community and to make them aware of the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Dr. Emanuel received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Florida A & M University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1971 and the Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee in 1976. During his varied career, he has been a clinical as well as a consultant pharmacist. He has consulted for several nursing homes and is involved with teaching pharmacy students, nurses and other pharmacists. His teaching appointments have included: Adjunct Instructor/Continuing Education Program for Nurses at Florida Community College Jacksonville, Adjunct Instructor of Pharmacology, University of North Florida School of Nursing, and currently Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Florida A & M University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Honored June 2000 as a fellow of the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (FASHP), Dr. Emanuel’s other professional affiliations include Board of Directors, Florida Society of Health System Pharmacists (1981-84); President of the Northeast Florida Society of Health System Pharmacists (1978-79); Contributing Editor-Florida Journal of Health System Pharmacists (1984-1989); and President of the Florida Medical, Dental and Pharmaceutical Association, Jacksonville Chapter (1977-78). Dr. Emanuel has been married to Hattie Thompson Emanuel for over 40 years. Hattie is a 1969 graduate of the FAMU School of Business. They have two children, Fratina Samantha and Frank Christopher and two grand children, Shamari and Chase.

Recording Secretary - Sharron Patterson

Sharron is a native of Jacksonville, FL. She is in the 1987 graduating class of Florida A & M University. While at FAMU, Sharron became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and was a clarinetist in the University Symphonic Band.

Sharron is employed by the Duval County School Board where she serves as a Teacher Trainer. She is a Life Member of the FAMU National Alumni Association and enjoys reading in her leisure time.

Karen graduated from Florida A & M University in 1987. While at FAMU, Karen became of member of Phi Delta Kappa and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She played the clarinet in the University’s Symphonic Band.

Karen is a Life Member of the FAMU National Alumni Association and a member of  Duval Teachers United. She is an ESOL Resource Teacher with the Duval County School Board. In her spare time, Karen enjoys Photography.

Chaplain - Delaney Williams, Sr

Delaney graduated from Florida A & M University in 1968 with a Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences. He went on to earn a Masters in History from FAMU.

Delaney is a retired educator of the Duval County School System. He is a member of the State/Local Historical Society, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc, the Jacksonville chapter of the NAACP and a Diamondback Booster. Delaney is a Deacon with Bethel Baptist Institutional Church and enjoys traveling and chess.
