

Overview:
The Rattler Grub Club is a JRE Lee FAMU Alumni Chapter event managed by the Membership Committee. The purpose of the Grub Club is to increase camaraderie amongst FAMU alumni, associates and friends.
The Rattler Grub Club is a lunch outing where rattlers in surrounding areas meet for lunch on the last Friday in each month. Rattler’s and friends gather in cells at their closest designated location to enjoy food, fun and good conversation.
Who Can Participate?
The Grub Club is open to everyone (FAMU alumni, associates and friends). The Grub Club is a great place to find out what’s going on in the JRE Lee FAMU Alumni Chapter, and network with Rattlers.
How to participate:
Participating in the Rattler Grub Club is simple. Here is how to get involved:
- Contact the Cell Coordinator of the lunch cell closest to you to be added to the contact list.
- Show up at the designated location at the designated meeting time.
- Eat, drink and be merry!
Locations:
Lunch Cells – There are several cells throughout the city where Rattlers meet. Locate and participate in the closest cell near you.
Lunch Cell Coordinators:
Lunch Cell Coordinators are appointed by the Membership Committee Chair. Their responsibilities include:
- Set meeting time and location for lunch cell
- Send reminders to cell members two days prior to meetings
- Insure new members feel welcome and are introduced to existing cell members
- Insure name tags are worn at all lunch cell meetings
- Encourage all lunch cell participants to become a due paying member of the JRE Lee Chapter at each lunch outing
- Provide chapter information upon request (structure, membership, dues amount)
