Jacksonville Chapter Launches New Website

The Public Relations Committee of the JRE Lee FAMU Alumni Chapter in Jacksonville worked expeditiously to complete new website for its members and the community. The old website gave static information and was more of a web based brochure. The new site will have more interactive features, giving visitors opportunity to get involved with the chapter from their desk top. Tim Brown, PR Committee Chair, says "The new website is state of the art. Visitors will be able to join the chapter, purchase Rattler gear and make donations to the endowment fund without ever leaving their home".

The new website project was initially put into effect as a service to existing chapter members. Godfrey Jenkins, Chapter President, wanted an innovative and cost effective tool to get information out faster. The online store was integrated into the website after hearing several new chapter members request for Rattler gear.

The website was designed and built by Gee Tee Network in association with Xcess Interactive.
